1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Supasplit mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. We may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Supasplit is an expense-splitting application that helps users track shared expenses within groups. The App allows you to record expenses, split costs among group members, and keep track of balances. Supasplit does not facilitate actual money transfers — it is a tracking tool only. Any financial settlements between users happen outside of the App.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Supasplit. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

4. Account Registration

To use Supasplit, you must create an account using your email address or a supported social login provider (such as Google or Apple). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Free and Premium Plans

Supasplit offers both a free tier and a premium tier with additional features. By subscribing to a premium plan, you agree to the following:

• Premium subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Payment is charged to your app store account at the time of purchase and upon each renewal period.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Any price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period following notice.

6. User Content

You may create content within the App, including expense descriptions, group names, notes, and profile information ("User Content"). User Content is visible to other members of the groups you belong to. You agree that:

• You are solely responsible for any User Content you create.
• Your User Content does not infringe on the rights of any third party.
• You will not post content that is abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable.
• We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By creating User Content, you grant Supasplit a limited, non-exclusive license to store, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating the App.

7. Acceptable Use

When using Supasplit, you agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App.
• Use the App to transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Create fake accounts or misrepresent your identity.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in abusive, fraudulent, or illegal behavior. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may also delete your account at any time through the App. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any subscription fees already paid.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Supasplit is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We are not responsible for the accuracy of expense calculations — it is your responsibility to verify amounts and balances.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Supasplit and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Supasplit and its developer from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Arbitration shall take place in the State of Delaware, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than arbitration, you waive any right to a jury trial.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when the latest changes were made. Your continued use of Supasplit after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
